Our grants help support Projects that benefit Sutter Creek, including:
1. Projects that community members work together on to address a community issue, need or common goal
2. Projects that are designed by and for Sutter Creek, with community members taking part in the decision making
3. Projects that make use of existing community resources, skills and strengths
4. Projects that encourage participation from, and include diverse community members.
We believe that you are experts in your community, and the most able to come up with solutions to neighborhood challenges
Our grants are made possible through the contributions of individual donors and nonprofit donor funds managed by the Sutter Creek Community Benefit Foundation. Some are driven by the charitable interests of our donors, and others come from our unrestricted funds that allow us to strategically invest in our community’s needs as they change over time, advancing long-term strategic goals, and taking on key leadership roles.
Grants are made through various funds at Sutter Creek Community Benefit Foundation. Grants are often competitive, although some are made on donor initiative. Each grant is a story of resources meeting needs, of people doing good things in our community, either by giving or doing. We applaud our donors and those organizations for getting the good work done.
